Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms cover your use of Keep Lifting ("the app"), on the web and in the iOS app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

Health and safety

The app helps you log workouts and shows suggestions, plans, recovery estimates and progress based on what you enter. It is not medical, health or professional fitness advice, and it can't account for your individual circumstances. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an injury or health condition. Exercise carries a risk of injury: train within your limits, use proper technique and equipment, and stop if something hurts. You use the app and follow any suggestion in it at your own risk.

What you share

Some features let you share things with other people: your profile, avatar, workout posts, comments, group streaks and the leaderboard. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to store it and show it to the people you've chosen to share it with, as needed to run those features.

Community rules

We want the app to be a supportive place to train. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post or send anything that is:

You can report a comment from its menu, and block another user so they can't see your activity or contact you. We review reports and will remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete the accounts responsible, usually within 24 hours.

Rewards

Streaks, streak freezes, crew levels, trophies, badges, avatar gear and themes are part of the app's game. They have no monetary value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and we may change how they're earned or rebalance them as the app evolves.

Apple Health and other services

If you connect Apple Health or import from another service, you're also subject to that service's terms. How we handle that data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no attempting to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with or overloading the service, scraping it, or reverse engineering it, and no using it for anything unlawful.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and data from Settings → Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We may also change or discontinue features, or the app itself; if we shut the app down we'll give reasonable notice where we can so you can download your data.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important (you can export your workouts as CSV from Settings → My Data).

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from exercise you do. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.

The iOS app

If you use the app on an Apple device, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or any claims relating to it, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the iOS app must also follow the App Store's Usage Rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the update on this page with a new "last updated" date, and let you know in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
